Williamstown, MA - The Williams Women's Track and Field team closed out their final regular season competition with a powerful showing at the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference (AARTFC) Championships, hosted at home. The Ephs delivered standout performances across field and track events, breaking school records, setting national marks, and earning podium finishes as they gear up for next week's NCAA Division III Outdoor National Championships in Geneva, Ohio.
In the field, the Ephs made their mark early. In the triple jump,
Mireya King '28 placed eighth with a jump of 11.25 meters. In the long jump,
Kelsey Tarby '27 secured sixth place, with a big jump of 5.55 meters.
In the pole vault, the Ephs had a stellar showing.
Poppy Miller '25 cleared 3.59 meters to earn fourth, while
Jae Yu '25 soared to a personal best of 3.84 meters to claim second place and moving her into the top 4 all-time in Williams program history and 18th nationally.
The heptathlon brought another major highlight for the Ephs, as
Livi Mazerolle '26 compiled 4710 points to finish second overall. Her new season best ranks her 17th in the country.
On the track, the sprint squad delivered a historic performance. In the 4x100m relay, the team of
Rachel Arthur '25,
Bella King-Harvey '27,
Malia Klein '25, and
Ella Sukup '26 stormed to second place with a time of 46.46 seconds, breaking the school record.
In the 100 meters,
Rachel Arthur '25 ran a time of 12.20, while in the 400 meters,
Bella King-Harvey '27 finished second with a blazing time of 54.61 seconds. This new personal best set a new school record and currently ranks her 8th in the nation.
In the 1500 meters,
Lily Yampolsky '28 continued her strong season, placing sixth with a time of 4:39.27. In the 5000 meters,
Julia Brennan '27 ran 17:54.16 to take sixth, and
Hayley Ballard '27 clocked 18:29.54 to finish 16th. In the 3000m steeplechase,
Clara Gahm '28 placed 17th in 11:35.69.
With multiple national-level performances and a wave of personal and school records, the Ephs concluded their season on a high note. A strong group of Ephs has now set their sights on the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships, taking place next week in Geneva, Ohio.
