WILLIAMSTOWN, MASS. -- On May 16, the IWLCA announced the 256 Division III All-Region athletes for women's lacrosse in the 2025 season. Four Ephs were represented in the Berkshire Region.
Goalkeeper Caroline Pratt and defender Grace Collier were both recognized with First Team All-Region honors.
For Collier, the achievement comes off the heels of All-NESCAC First Team honors. She was a defensive stalwart all season for the Ephs, finishing second on the team with 32 ground balls and third on the team with 18 caused turnovers.
Pratt's All-Berkshire Region honors also come after she achieved recognition as the best goalkeeper in the loaded NESCAC. Pratt finished the year with 145 saves and a .529 save percentage, both career bests for the senior.
Midfielder Claudia Russell and defender Meaghan Day also received All-Berkshire Region honors, with both players named to the Second Team.
Russell concludes her career with one more accomplishment. She led the team with 13 assists, and finished top five in nearly every statistical category, including goals (26) and points (39). Her impact was felt all over the field for the Ephs, as evidenced by her 22 ground balls and 26 caused turnovers, which were also top five marks on the team and easily career bests.
Day will come back next year as one of the team's leaders and the only non-departing player on this list. She was an important part of the Ephs' impressive defense all season, leading the team with 30 caused turnovers and finishing third on the team with 26 ground balls. Her impact extended to the draw circle, where she played an important role with 23 draw controls, good for third on the team.
With the All-Berkshire Region recognition, these four Ephs become eligible for IWLCA All-American honors, which will be announced on May 23.
