Anik Cepeda's Williams 2024-2025 women's tennis team have been accorded All-NESCAC honors in a vote by the conference coaches.
The pair of co-captains were named to First Team All-NESCACÂ doubles. This is Ishikawa's seventh All-NESCAC honor, having been named First Team Singles and First Team Doubles in every past year. This is Ladaga's first ALL-NESCAC award.
The pair finished the season ranked #8 in the country according to the ITA rankings. Throughout the season, they compiled an impressive 12-2 record, including wins over Tufts, Redlands, Pomona, DII Point Loma, D1 Quinnipiac University, NYU, and Bowdoin. They began their spring season play on a 10-match win streak.
"Huge congrats to our honorees," stated Cepeda. "Yuu and Jane have been so consistent in doubles for the team this season, and watching them play with such composure and competitiveness has been amazing to see. They've done a great job at leading the team both on and off court as captains, and I'm glad they got the chance to be recognized by the other NESCAC coaches."Â
