The WBCA Academic Top 25 recognizes college women's basketball teams across the nation in Division I, II and III, NAIA and Two-Year Colleges that carry the highest combined GPAs inclusive of all student-athletes on the rosters for the entire season. The 2024-25 season is the 30th in which the WBCA has compiled the honor rolls.

The Ephs defeated then-No. 9-ranked Gettysburg, 58-54, on Dec. 20 during the Cruzin Classic Tournament at Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida. Gerig, Tounkara and Mairi Smith were recognized with College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District laurels during this past academic year.

Gerig was named to the NESCAC All-Conference First Team for the second consecutive season, while also being selected to play in the WBCA Division III Senior All-Star Game on March 22 at Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia. She earned D3hoops.com All-Region 1 First Team honors for the second year in a row and garnered WBCA NCAA Division III All-American Honorable Mention Team accolades.
