BOSTON, Mass. – The Williams College women's track and field team sent a select group of athletes to compete at the Saucony Battle for Boston on Sunday afternoon at Boston University.
The standout performance of the meet came in the women's 4,000-meter Distance Medley Relay.
Ginger Long,
Cate Donaldson,
Annika Paluska, and
Kate Tuttle delivered a record-breaking effort, clocking 11:33.97 to capture first place and set a new program mark.
"We weren't' totally sure what to expect when we put this relay together on short notice, but this group was ready to go and it was great to see how they made the most of their opportunity," said assistant coach
Dusty Lopez.
The squad eclipsed the previous school record of 11:41.27, established in 2025, shaving nearly eight seconds off the former time. With the performance, the Ephs now own the fastest DMR time in Division III this season and rank No. 3 all-time in Division III history.
