WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - After averaging 18.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game during a 1-1 week for the Ephs, sophomore guard
Micah Walton of the Williams College women's basketball team was named to the New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) Second Team of the Week Tuesday afternoon.

Walton shot a combined 15 of 26 from the field, 2 for 2 on 3-pointers and 4 of 5 from the free-throw line for the Ephs (10-10, 3-3 NESCAC). She was a two-time NEWBA Rookie of the Week honoree during the 2024-25 season.
Walton filled up the box score with 15 points, six rebounds and two steals, while tying a career-high seven assists and shooting 6 of 11 from the field, 1 for 1 on 3-pointers and 2 of 2 from the charity stripe, during an 81-58 win over Curry Saturday afternoon at Chandler Gymnasium in Williamstown, Massachusetts.
She dropped a game-high 21 points, shooting 9 of 15 from the field and 1 for 1 from beyond the arc, to go along with five rebounds, against visiting and No. 13-ranked Bates Friday evening. Walton leads the Ephs and ranks fifth in the NESCAC with a 14.2 points per game average.
Williams will host Colby Friday at 7 p.m. in Chandler Gymnasium.
