WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - After scoring 21 or more points eight times during the 2025-26 season and guiding the Williams College women's basketball team to a quarterfinal-round playoff victory on the road and an appearance in the semifinals of the NESCAC Tournament, sophomore guard
Micah Walton garnered D3hoops.com All-Region 1 Third Team and New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) All-Region Fourth Team accolades Monday.

Walton was honored on the NEWBA First and Second Team of the Week, respectively, on March 3 and Feb. 3, while also earning NESCAC All-Conference First Team honors for the Ephs (13-13, 5-5 NESCAC). During a 59-44 victory at Amherst on Feb. 14, Walton recorded a game-high 24 points, shooting 10 of 18 from the field, while also securing eight rebounds.
The Austin, Texas, native dropped 19 points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals for the fifth-seeded Ephs in a 75-55 triumph over fourth-seeded Trinity on Feb. 21 during the NESCAC Quarterfinals in Hartford, Connecticut. She scored a game-high 21 points, while shooting 9 of 10 from the free-throw line and 6 for 10 from the field, during the NESCAC Semifinals against top-seeded and then-No. 8-ranked Bowdoin on Feb. 28 in Brunswick, Maine.

Pat Manning. "Micah had a great sophomore season and she continues to work daily to improve various aspects of her game. We have seen tremendous improvement from Micah this year, especially on the defensive end. She is a true student of the game and I am thrilled that she is being recognized for her outstanding effort."
Walton led the Ephs and ranked fourth in the NESCAC in points (15.0) assists (2.8) and steals (1.8) per game. She also shot a team-leading 72.7% from the free-throw line (72 for 99), which was the fourth-best mark in the conference.
Walton was outstanding on the glass as a guard, ranking second on the team with 5.0 rebounds per game. She corralled eight or more boards in five games, while dishing out four or more assists seven times and coming up with three or more steals on seven occasions.
