Women's Track and Field Competes at Final Qualifier Meet

At the Tufts National Qualifying Meet, a few Ephs competed at one last competition before Nationals.

Sophomore Kate Tuttle continued to dominate the competition, and took 1st place in the mile with a blazing 4:52.05, narrowly beating a competitor from MIT. Morgan Eigel took 2nd place in the 3000m run with a 9:39.99, out of a field of 14 competitors. Teammate Jordan Liss-Riordan was just behind in 4th with a 9:51.46.

Eliza Ayres competed in a shorter event for the Ephs, the 60m hurdles, and finished with a time of 9.42 seconds. She then competed in the Long Jump, reaching 5.57m. Audrey Cheng scored 3.33m in the Pole Vault event.

To conclude the meet, Maria Fareti took 1st place in the Weight Throw, scoring 16.91m.
