HADLEY, Mass. - The Williams College men's golf team is heading to Connecticut to participate in the NESCAC Championship, hosted by Trinity College at Fox Hopyard Golf Club in East Haddam, from Friday through Sunday.
The 2026 championship marks the second year of a three-day, 54-hole event and includes all 10 NESCAC teams that sponsor men's golf vying for the title. Waves will tee off at 11 a.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
The Ephs enter the Championship tournament having tied with Amherst College for the Little Three Championship on Tuesday, and with a shot at winning their 14th NESCAC title in team history. Williams is ranked sixth in Region 1 of Division III golf, with five other NESCAC schools ranked in the top seven. Amherst is 2nd, Tufts 3rd, Hamilton 4th, Trinity 5th, and Bowdoin 7th, so the competition should be wide open.
