Claire Colvin of No. 11 Field Hockey Named to 2026 NFHCA Division III Watchlist

Colvin was on the 2024 team that reached the Final Four

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — After recording 18 goals, 10 assists, 46 points and seven game-winning tallies during her first three seasons, senior forward and midfielder Claire Colvin of the 11th-ranked Williams College field hockey team was recognized on the 2026 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III Watchlist Thursday morning.

During her first three years in Williamstown, Massachusetts, Colvin was a focal part of three NCAA Division III Tournament-bound Eph teams. The 2024 team advanced to the program's second-ever Final Four and second in three years, while setting program records in total wins (16) and NESCAC victories (9). The 2023 and 2025 squads reached the second round on the national stage, with the 2023 unit making a run to the NESCAC Championship game.

Colvin totaled six goals, five assists, 17 points and one game-winning goal during her rookie season in 2023. One year later, the Winchester, Massachusetts, native recorded six goals, one assist, 13 points and three game-winning tallies. During the 2024 season, she found the back of the net twice, including the game-winner, during a 2-0 victory over then-No. 11-ranked Amherst on Sept. 14 at Williamson Field.

During her junior season in 2025, Colvin tallied six goals, four assists, 16 points and three game-winners in 11 games. She factored into 3-of-4 goals, and finished with one goal and two assists, including assisting on the game-winning goal, during a 4-0 triumph against visiting Colby on Sept. 27. During her three-year collegiate career, Colvin has appeared in 45 games and made 33 starts.

The Ephs open the 2026 season against defending NESCAC champion and fifth-ranked Bates on Sunday, Sept. 6, at 11 a.m. in Williamstown, Massachusetts.
