WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — For the second consecutive week, junior Kate Tuttle has been named the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Division III Women's National Athlete of the Week.
Tuttle becomes the first female NCAA Division III athlete to earn national weekly honors in back-to-back weeks since Amelia Lorrey of Centre accomplished the feat during the spring of 2021.
The national recognition comes after another dominant performance from Tuttle at Middlebury College's Aldrich Invitational on Saturday. Tuttle captured her second individual title of the season, in the 6K with a time of 22:16, leading the Ephs to a first-place finish with 22 points.
Tuttle's victory came against a field that included 2025 NCAA individual champion Audrey MacLean of Middlebury. Tuttle finished 11.6 seconds ahead of eventual runner-up Sophie Capozzi, while MacLean placed third overall.
Additionally, Tuttle was named NESCAC Runner of the Week following her performance last weekend.
