First-year Sadie Wu traveled with women’s golf to Middlebury, Vermont, for the George Phinney Classic, playing as an individual, and ended up finishing tied atop the leaderboard at the conclusion of the two rounds with a 9-over 152. The native of East York, Ontario, sank two birdies in each of her two rounds, despite a steady rain throughout the second day of play. The last first-year to win a tournament for the Ephs was Wu’s current teammate, senior co-captain Emma Abramson, who took medalist honors at the Jekyll Island Intercollegiate back on March 22-24, 2024.
