The junior offensive star scored again on a penalty corner at 32:53 to finish off the first half, this time assisted by fellow junior Margaret Souther. The Ephs were hard-pressed for a chance on to make a play, with no shots or penalty corners earned in the first thirty-five minutes, while Middlebury collected thirteen shots and six penalty corners.
Panthers first year Catherine Fowler made the last goal of the night at 44:33, assisted by both Souther and Fowler on a penalty corner. The Ephs were able to step up their offensive game in the second half, earning four to Middlebury's two penalty corners and five to Middlebury's four shots. Williams senior co-captain Meera Sivlingham (Philadephia, PA), first-year Caitlin Conlon (Sudbury, MA), senior Helena Nannes (Bethesda, MD), and first-year Maeve Mulholland (Manhasset, NY) all had shots on goal.
Ephs keeper Ariana Spiliotes (Bethesda, MD) made eight saves, while Middlebury goalie made three. Both goalies played all seventy minutes in the net.
