The Williams College Ephs earned three All-East Region honors, one Second Team All-America honor and interim head coach Bill Kangas was tabbed as the East Region Coach of the Year.
Williams' second year interim head coach Bill Kangas has led his Eph teams to a combined 13-1 record versus Division III teams over the past two years and to the NCAA title in 2015.
Three Ephs were named to the 10-player All-Region Team. The honored Ephs include first year Cordelia Chan, junior Sophie Kitchen, and sophomore Phoebe Mattana. "Phoebe was our most consistent performer and led our team all season to earn the 2015-16 WGCA All-American Second Team," noted Kangas. "While all eight Williams golfers contributed this season, the WGCA recognized the efforts of Phoebe, Cordelia and Sophie on the WGCA East All-Region Team."
Mattana earned national recognition with her selection to the All-America Second Team.
