WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - With the days left in August rapidly diminishing, the Williams College women's golf team is ecstatic about flipping the calendar to September and beginning competition.

"We are excited for the upcoming fall season," said
Euna Lee '26. "It is a great opportunity to build on the momentum from last year. Looking at the fall schedule, our team is feeling confident heading into these tournaments, especially with the addition of two strong first years. Personally, I am looking forward to the Golfweek October Classic. It is always a privilege to go back again and a great way to compete with other competitive teams across the country."
The Ephs return an abundance of talent from last year in Lee,
Jackie Lu '26,
Victoria Kim '26,
Emma Abramson '27,
Natalie Cheong '27,
Maryanne Grace '27 andÂ
Michelle Ding '28, while the program is thrilled to welcome
Zoe Wynn '29 and

Head Coach
Tomas Adalsteinsson will be the leading voice of the program, while
Bill Kangas returns as an assistant coach. Kangas earned the 2024-25 NCAA Division III Golf Pride Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) Assistant Coach of the Year accolade.
"We are excited to welcome Petra and Zoe to the team and look forward to seeing them make their mark on our program," said Adalsteinsson. "Our returners bring back valuable experience from past seasons, and we are eager to build on the growth we have achieved over the past couple of years. We believe we are on the verge of something great. This team has the drive, commitment and competitiveness to reach its ambitious goals this year, and we cannot wait to get started."
The Ephs, who finished the 2024-25 season ranked No. 8 in the country, begin the fall season during the Ann Batchelder Match Play Championship on Sept. 13-14 at Nehoiden Golf Club in Wellesley, Massachusetts, and then take their talent to the George Phinney Classic on Sept. 20-21 at Ralph Myhre Golf Course in Middlebury, Vermont. The unit hosts the Williams Invite on Sept. 27-28 at Taconic Golf Club in Williamstown, Massachusetts. The Bowdoin Invitational takes place on Oct. 4-5 at Brunswick Golf Club, and then the fall season concludes with the Golfweek October Classic on Oct. 11-14 at Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort in Destin, Florida.
Last season, the Ephs won the individual and team title at the Polar Bear Shootout, as Grace claimed medalist honors with a 5-under-par, two-day total of 141 (71-70). Cheong finished in the second slot with a 4-under-par 142, including an outstanding first-round score of 68. Williams placed first overall as a team during the Williams Spring Invitational on April 19-20 at Taconic, while Lee was the medalist at the NESCAC Championship (71-76-78-225) and Cheong took home the same honor during the George Phinney Classic (73-73-146).

Abramson, Cheong, Ding, Grace, Kim and Lee garnered WGCA All-American Scholar laurels.
During her brilliant college career, Lee has earned medalist recognition four times, including the Cortland Martin/Wallace Invitational (2-under par: 71-71-142) in April 2023, Williams Invitational (76-72-148) in September 2023, NESCAC Fall Qualifier (72-73-145) in October 2023 and NESCAC Championship this past spring. Abramson earned medalist honors during the Jekyll Island Intercollegiate Tournament in March 2024, shooting a 79-72-72-223, while Kim was first in the individual standings during the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA) Championship in October 2022, finishing with a 69-75-144.Â
"I am excited to be back with the team this fall and to welcome two first years, Petra and Zoe," said Grace. "We have five events this fall, and I am especially looking forward to our home invitational. Taconic is always beautiful in the fall and it is fun to compete at home, especially when alumni and parents are visiting. I am feeling great about the team going into the season, and I think we will have some strong showings this fall."
