HADLEY, MASS. – Eph senior guard and captain
Maggie Meehan has been named a Second Team All-NESCAC honoree in a vote by the conference women's basketball coaches. Meehan was the lone senior on the Eph team that finished 10-15.
"I was thrilled to learn that Maggie was selected to the NESCAC Second Team
for the second time in her career," said Eph head coach
Pat Manning. "Such a well-deserved honor for her. Maggie played such a vital role on our very young team this year."
"Not only was Maggie our team leader in points and assists, she was #1 in the NESCAC for minutes played," noted Manning. "Maggie's leadership, work ethic and dedication was an inspiration to her teammates and coaches. Maggie finds such joy in playing basketball and has left an indelible mark on our program."
This season Meehan started all 25 games and posted a team high 351 points (14.0 ppg). She played 921 minutes (36.8 per game), collected 65 rebounds, registered a team high 52 assists, recorded 23 steals, and blocked 6 shots.
