Overcast, humidity, and rain made for a tough day at Yahnundasis Golf Club, but the Ephs battled through. The Ephs scored a +6, 298 total for day two at the Hamilton College Invitational, 22 shots better than the team's first day total. The team finished in 4
th place behind Hamilton College and Amherst College, with Emory University claiming the tournament title. Sharon Mun of Emory University was the individual champion, shooting a -1, 72 and a tournament total of 145, E.Â

Leading the team today was first-year
Euna Lee, with a score of 73, E. "This was my first ever collegiate tournament," Lee states, "and I was definitely a bit nervous and excited. With the help and energy from the team, I became even more motivated to play better every single shot." Lee kept it consistent today, carding 3 birdies and only 3 bogeys.

A quadruplet of 75s followed from the team, shot by junior
Aishvarya Bedi, first-year
Victoria Kim, senior
Malini Rudra, and senior
Catalin Yturralde. Bedi carded 4 more birdies today, and both Rudra and Bedi began their rounds today with birdies on the first hole. Kim kept it steady, with only 2 bogeys for the day. Yturralde got off to a hot start on the front nine with a -2, 35, and battled through the tough back nine to finish off a solid round.Â

Gio Kim shot another +5, 78 today, carding a sole birdie on the par-5 8

While the results were not like the Ephs hoped for, great progress and resilience was demonstrated by the players on day two of the Hamilton College Invitational. This was the Ephs first tournament of the season, with the next one being the Williams Championship at Taconic Golf Club on September 24
th-25
th. The team looks to defend their title at the Williams Championship and continue their dominant play.Â
