AUBURN, ME – The Williams Women's Golf team made a phenomenal comeback on Day 2 at the NESCAC Fall Qualifier, hosted by Bates College at Martindale Country Club. Shooting a 294 (+10) as a team, the Ephs claimed the tournament's title by 12 shots over Amherst College. By winning the event, the Ephs earn the privilege of hosting the NESCAC Championship in the spring at Taconic Golf Club. On the individual side, sophomore
Euna Lee was crowned medalist, shooting a 73 (+2) to win the event by 1 stroke. This is Lee's second win of the season, making it a stellar fall for the sophomore.

Gio Kim came in hot with a 69 (-2). First-year
Maryanne Grace made an awesome comeback from the day before, shooting a 75 (+4). Following Grace was first-year
Emma Abramson with a 77 (+6). Rounding out the lineup was sophomore
Victoria Kim with an 80 (+9).
Grace remarks, "The team definitely took advantage of moving day today. We all had the mindset that we could win if we played well, and it felt great to see it actually happen!"

Tomas Adalsteinsson adds, "Team played great today! Good energy on the golf course and they did an excellent job getting the ball to the right spots. Martindale CC can be a challenging course to navigate, so I'm very proud of the scores the team was able to shoot. We're excited to host the NESCAC Championship at Taconic GC in the spring!"
The team's final event of the season is the Little Three Championship with Amherst and Wesleyan, hosted at Taconic Golf Club on Tuesday..
