WATERVILLE VALLEY, NH – The EISA collegiate circuit wrapped up the Harvard Carnival today at Waterville Valley Resort, New Hampshire, with the slalom portion of the two-day series. The field was greeted with sunny skies and cool temperatures that made for a great surface for the entire field. The Ephs came out charging with eight finishers on the day.

Junior Chris Golden led the men's team today after the first run, skiing into 22nd place. With an early start for second run, he managed to pull off strong recoveries in a course with more offset to ultimately finish in a season-best 22nd place overall, 3.03 seconds off the winner, Mathias Tefre of the University of Vermont. He was followed by sophomore
Bennett Snyder, who also laid down two solid runs, to finish in 28th. Senior
Derick Peake wrapped up the men's scoring, finishing in 41st, while junior
Scottie Bocock rounded out the men's finishers in 43rd.

On the women's side, sophomore
Chloe Aust came out firing, skiing into 29th place from bib 55 after first run. With an early start for second run, she also capitalized on the fresh course to move up into 20th place on the day, Â 2.83 seconds off the winner, Hanna Larsson Nathhorst of Plymouth State University. She was followed by senior Maddy Sullivan and junior
Elena Zipp, who finished in 31st and 43rd place, respectively. Senior
Isabel Grondin rounded out the women's finishers in 51st.

The men's team placed 8th today, while the women's team placed 9th. Combined with the Nordic team's results over the past two days, the Williams Ski Team placed 8th overall at the Harvard Carnival.

The Williams Alpine Team is looking forward to hosting the EISA Carnival circuit at Jiminy Peak, Massachusetts, starting next Friday, February 17th. This will be the first Williams Carnival since 2020.
