WILLIAMSTOWN, MASS. – Kevin App's 21-6 Williams team that finished second in the NESCAC Tournament has been awarded an At-Large Berth in the 2024 NCAA Tournament.
The Ephs will head to Oswego, New York to play DeSales University (Center Valley, PA) at 3:30 PM on March 1
st.
The winner of the 3:30 PM game will play the winner of the Oswego State vs. Babson contest being played at 6:00 PM on March 1
st. That game will be played on March 2
nd at 6:00 PM at Oswego State.
The DeSales Bulldogs sport a season record of 24-3. Their recent 54-53 loss to Stevens snapped the Bulldogs win streak at 21.
The Ephs and Bulldogs have one common opponent this season in Hamilton College. On December 29 DeSales defeated Hamilton 72-62 in the first round of their Al Senavitis Memorial Tournament.
The Ephs defeated Hamilton 64-63 at home on January 3
rd.
DeSales averages 63 points a game and their leading scorer is senior forward Elijah Eberly who averages 12.1 points a game. Caleb Gibbs is the top rebounder averaging 9 boards a game.
