Women's Golf Finishes 10th at NCAA DIII Championship

NICHOLASVILLE, KY – Tomas Adalsteinsson's Williams women's golf team shot 307 on the fourth and final round of the championship to finish in 10th place. The Ephs four-day total was 1,234.

The third and fourth rounds of the championship were the Ephs' two best rounds and both of those rounds were played under mostly clear skies unlike the first two rounds that featured rain and lightning delays. Round three yesterday the Ephs carded their best score, 300.

Junior captain Gio Kim who finished today's round with a 2 over par 74 and sophomore Euna Lee shot a 3 over 75. First year Emma Abramson shot a 7 over 79 and senior captain Tianyi Zhuang came in at 7 over par, 79., to account for the Ephs 307. The Ephs fifth player sophomore Victoria Kim shot a 79.

"It was a solid day for us today." said Eph head coach Tomas Adalsteinsson. "We learned a lot this week and it was good for our experience to get all four rounds in. We can be proud of another top-10 finish at the National Championship and we are looking forward to making another run for it next year."
