"This award epitomizes why coaching at Williams is special," said head coach
Ethan Barron. "The hunger for knowledge and growth is powerful. Whether it be in the classroom, the lab or simply becoming students of their craft on the track, there is an insatiable drive to challenge oneself and grow at Williams. As a coach, I could not ask for a better environment to be in." Â
During the 2025 NCAA Division III Outdoor Championship on May 22-24 in Geneva, Ohio, Williams totaled two All-American performances. Sullivan earned First Team laurels with a sixth-place performance in the decathlon, while Murray garnered Second Team honors with a 12th-place finish during the long jump.
Vincent VanMaaren '27 (pole vault) and Newman (400-meter dash) collected All-American Second Team recognition during the indoor national championship on March 14-15 at Nazareth University in Rochester, New York.
