TEMPE, Ariz. - After prioritizing academic success during the 2024-25 school year, the Williams College women's tennis team earned 2025 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team laurels, as the Ephs also saw six student-athletes named Scholar-Athletes.
The six Ephs who met the criteria for Scholar-Athlete laurels were Ellie Stark '28, Margaux Molyneux '27, Mia Thomann '26, Ahn Lin '27, captain Yuu Ishikawa '25 and Julia Zhang '27.  To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, one must have a GPA of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale for the past school year and be listed on the institutional eligibility form.
During the 2024-25 season, Ishikawa and captain Jane Ladaga '26 earned ITA All-American honors and NESCAC All-Conference First Team recognition in doubles action, while Ishikawa was also named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America Second Team. Ishikawa, Molyneux, Thomann and Zhang were honored with CSC Academic All-District laurels.Â
The program earned the ITA All-Academic Team award for the 20th consecutive season dating back to 2006. The requirements to be recognized as an ITA All-Academic Team are programs must have a team GPA of 3.2 or above on a 4.0 scale, all student-athletes included should be listed on the institutional eligibility form and all varsity letter winners should be factored into the cumulative team GPA for the 2024-25 academic year.
