Ephs sending 15 student-athletes to NCAA Indoor Championship

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - After another immensely successful indoor season for the Williams College women's track & field team, there will be 15 Ephs competing at the 2026 NCAA Division III Championship Friday and Saturday at the Birmingham CrossPlex facility in Birmingham, Alabama.

Byl, TamarThe Ephs making the trip are Tamar Byl '27 (3,000 and 5,000 meters), Cate Donaldson '27 (4x400 relay), Morgan Eigel '27 (3,000), Alex Eremenko '28 (distance medley relay, 4x400), Ellie Fitzgerald '26 (pole vault), Claire Jensen '27 (distance medley relay), Bella King-Harvey '27 (400, 4x400), Jordan Liss-Riordan '27 (distance medley relay), Ginger Long '29 (distance medley relay), Annika Paluska '28 (800, 4x400), Charlene Peng '26 (5,000), Ella Sukup '26 (4x400), Kate Swann '26 (5,000), Kate Tuttle '28 (1 mile, 3,000) and Lily Yampolsky '28 (distance medley relay).

Byl placed first overall with a career-best time in the finals of the 3,000 (9:40.69) during the New England Division III Indoor Championship on March 1 at The Track at New Balance in Boston. During the same meet, Swann earned runner-up honors during the 5,000, clocking a time of 17:31.98. Tuttle earned first-place recognition in the mile during the New England Championship and Tufts Final Qualifier on March 7. She also clocked a personal-best time of 9:39.08 in the 3,000 during the John Thomas Terrier Classic on Jan. 31.

Donaldson, Sukup, Paluska and King-Harvey grabbed first-place laurels in the final of the 4x400 relay at the New England Championship, crossing the finish line in a time of 3:46.72. During the Tufts Final Qualifier, Eigel set a personal record and finished second in the 3,000 with a time of 9:39.99. Fitzgerald was the first-place finisher during the finals of the pole vault at the New England Championship with a personal-best mark of 4.00 meters. Paluska was the second runner to cross the finish line in the 800 at the New England Championship, while Peng set a personal record in the 5,000 (16:44.22) at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational on Feb. 13-14.
