WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - The No. 15-ranked Williams College women's squash team begins its 2025-26 journey with a 2 p.m. match against No. 5 Trinity on Saturday, Nov. 15, in the Simon Squash Center.

Williams finished 12-9 overall and 7-1 in the NESCAC during the 2024-25 season. Melanie Wang '27 was named to the NESCAC All-Conference First and Second Team in 2024 and 2025, respectively, was also being the conference's Rookie of the Year in 2024. Sophia Koehler '27 was recognized on the All-Conference Second Team in 2025, while Rachel Miller '27 garnered Second Team laurels in 2024.

"This season is unusual in that we have six student-athletes who have chosen to study abroad for the fall term," said head coach Hesham Aly. "We may take a little while to find our form, but once we do, we will have a deep and talented roster that will look to make a run at the NESCAC Championship and earn a spot in the championship bracket at team nationals. Captains Roshni Pal '26 and Anika Kakarla '27 have done a great job getting the team ready for our difficult fall matches."

The group competes against No. 7 Cornell on Sunday, Nov. 16, at noon in Williamstown, Massachusetts. The squad competes in 15 regular-season matches, including nine NESCAC contests. The NESCAC Championship occurs on Saturday, Feb. 14, and Sunday, Feb. 15, at Hamilton College in Clinton, New York.

The Ephs have 13 returning student-athletes and five newcomers. The returners feature Annie Chang '27, Giselle Ciriaco '26, Mahika Gupta '28, Deena Iqbal '26, Naomi Jefferson-Sambanis '27, Catherine Li '28, Rhea Pandit '27, Christina Yen '28, Kakarla, Koehler, Miller, Pal and Wang. The newcomers are Frances Brooks '29, Alicia Chen '29, Lucy Farman-Farmaian '29, Anna Wong '29 and Alina Ramirez '26. Blair Dils and Thomas Hodgson return as assistant coaches.
