WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - For the third time in the last four years, the Williams College women's volleyball team earned an at-large bid into the NCAA Division III Tournament Monday afternoon, as the Ephs will compete against Franklin & Marshall during the first round Thursday (4:30 p.m.) at MIT in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
"We are incredibly honored and excited to earn an at-large bid to this year's NCAA Tournament," said head coach
Christi Kelsey. "This team has put together an amazing season so far and we are all looking forward to the opportunity to compete again this week together."
The Ephs (19-7, 7-3 NESCAC) earned the third seed in the conference tournament and emerged victorious during the quarterfinals against Middlebury, 3-1, on Nov. 8 at Chandler Gymnasium. Williams also defeated eventual NESCAC champion Tufts, 3-2, on Oct. 3 in Medford, Massachusetts. The 2022 squad reached the Sweet 16 of the national tournament.

Keely Campuzano led the squad in kills (257, fifth in the NESCAC), while sophomore
Chi Obi (199), Baker (155) and Lane (128) all finished with over 100.
Leading the way this season for Franklin & Marshall (22-6, 9-1 Centennial Conference) are Melissa Benkowitz (303 kills, 273 digs), Ceci Connolly (295 kills), Coco Shultz (254 kills, 286 digs), Liah Perez (470 assists, 188 digs) and Carly Campbell (464 assists, 157 digs).
