LEXINGTON, Ky. - After helping to power the Williams College women's volleyball team to a 19-8 overall record, 7-3 NESCAC mark and the third seed in the conference tournament, junior outside hitter
Keely Campuzano was named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division III All-Region 1 Honorable Mention Team.
"It is a great honor for Keely to be named among our region's best for this season," said head coach
Christi Kelsey. "There are a lot of incredibly talented student-athletes in our conference and across all the teams in this area. It is well deserved for her overall performance this year. I know Keely is very humble and would say that this type of award is a reflection of our team this season too and the awesome run we put together this year to be among our region's best as a team. I am very proud of both Keely and our entire team for this recognition."
Campuzano led the Ephs in kills (266), kills per set (2.80), points (297.5) and points per set (3.13), while ranking eighth and ninth, respectively, in the NESCAC in total kills and kills per sets. The Excelsior, Minnesota, native finished with a season-high 19 kills in a five-set match against Middlebury on Sept. 27 in Chandler Gymnasium.
