HADLEY, Mass. - After scoring twice, including the game-winning goal, for the Williams College women's ice hockey team during a 2-1 win at No. 9-ranked Plattsburgh State Saturday afternoon, sophomore forward
Annie Gallagher of the Williams College women's ice hockey team garnered NESCAC Co-Player of the Week recognition from the conference office Monday.
"It is great to see Annie recognized as NESCAC Player of the Week," said head coach
Meghan Gillis. "Not only did she step up offensively against Plattsburgh, but she is someone who plays a consistently strong game defensively 5 on 5 and 4 on 5 to impact both ends of the ice."
This marks the first weekly conference honor of Gallagher's collegiate career. The Wellesley, Massachusetts, native has recorded three goals and one assist on the season for the Ephs (4-1-2, 0-1-1Â NESCAC). During her rookie season in 2024-25, she finished with three goals and six assists.
The Ephs will compete against Lake Forest College on Friday, Jan. 2, at 4 p.m. in Lansing Chapman Rink.
