Boston, MA – The Ephs showcased an outstanding performance this weekend at The Track at New Balance, competing on Friday and Saturday. Their hard work and determination paid off as they amassed a total of 142.50 points, securing first place and bringing home the championship plate. The meet was marked by record-breaking performances, new personal bests, and several national qualifiers, making it a weekend to remember for the team.
In the field events,
Maria Fareti'28 demonstrated her strength in the shot put, setting a new personal record with a throw of 12.45 meters, which earned her a sixth-place finish. She continued her impressive form in the weight throw, achieving another personal best with a mark of 15.94 meters, also securing sixth place.
Chloe Schneeberg'25 also participated in the weight throw, placing in 12th with a big throw of 14.07 meters.
Ellie Fitzgerald'26 delivered an incredible performance in the pole vault, winning first place and breaking the school record with a vault of 3.87 meters. With this achievement, she is now ranked seventh nationally in Division III.
Poppy Miller'25 also competed in the pole vault, finishing in 14th place, and clearing a height of 3.37 meters.
Kelsey Tarby'27 put forth a strong effort in the long jump, finishing in sixth place with a leap of 5.36 meters, setting a new season best. In the triple jump, Rafaela Delgado'27 secured fourth place with a season-best jump of 11.57 meters,
Kelsey Tarby'27 claimed tenth place with a season-best jump of 10.94 meters, and
Mireya King'28 finished 27th with a jump of 10.19 meters.
Amelie Jamanka'26 reached new heights in the high jump, achieving a season-best of 1.63 meters and finishing in sixth place. In the pentathlon, Livi Mazzerolle'26 delivered a remarkable performance, achieving a massive personal record of 3,519 points. This outstanding result places her among the top three all-time at Williams and ranks her seventh nationally in Division III.
Sprinting events kicked off on Friday with the 60m hurdles prelims, where
Olivia LaBelle '28 secured 9th place with a time of 9.36 seconds, followed by
Ziann Facey '26 in 23rd with a time of 9.72 seconds. Next up, in Friday's 60m dash prelims,
Rachel Arthur '25 dominated the competition. Arthur took 1st in the prelims with a time of 7.60 seconds — a new school record and personal best, which she went onto beat in the 60m dash finals on Saturday. In the final, Arthur became the DIII New England Indoor Champion in the 60m dash, clocking in at 7.54 seconds. This mark is a personal best for Arthur, a new Williams school record, and the 3rd-fastest performance in NCAA Division III indoor track this season.
Ella Sukup '26 and
Maggie Nichols '28 also competed in the 60m prelims on Friday, finishing in 8.06 seconds (20th) and 8.17 seconds (32nd), respectively. The Ephs continued to impress in Saturday's sprint events, which included the 400m and 200m dashes. In the 400m,
Bella King-Harvey '27 broke her own school record with an outstanding time of 55.38 seconds, securing the DIII New England Indoor Championship title. Her personal best time also set a new meet record and currently ranks 5th on the NCAA Division III indoor performance list for the event. Teammate
Cate Donaldson '27 also had a strong 400m performance, finishing in 4th with a personal best time of 56.85 seconds. In the 200m dash,
Rachel Arthur '25 and
Bella King-Harvey '27 delivered impressive performances once again. Arthur clinched the DIII New England Indoor Championship title and broke the Williams school record in the 200 with a personal best time of 24.54 seconds. King-Harvey was close behind, finishing 2nd with a personal best time of 24.63 seconds — the 2nd fastest time on the Williams All-Time Performance list. Also competing in the 200m dash were
Ella Sukup '26,
Maggie Nichols '28 and
Malia Klein '25. Sukup placed 17th with a time of 25.56 seconds — a personal best and the 8th fastest time on the Williams All-Time Performance list. Nichols took 25th in 26.01 seconds, followed close behind by Klein in a collegiate-best of 26.04 seconds.
The Ephs' momentum carried into the mid-distance and distance events.
Clara Gahm '28 represented the Ephs in Friday's 1,000m race, securing 3rd in a personal best time of 3:00.12. Several Ephs also competed in the 5,000m race on Friday.
Morgan Eigel '27 finished 2nd with a time of 17:22.12.
Charlene Peng '27 placed 6th in 17:46.10, followed close behind by
Julia Brennan '27 in 7th with a personal best time of 17:51.53.
Fiona Picone '26 took 9th in 18:02.84 and
Hannah Prokup '28 placed 11th with a personal best time of 18:11.64. Distance and mid-distance races continued on Saturday, beginning with the mile run. Lily Yampolksy '28 led the Ephs, securing 6th place with a time of 5:01.15.
Jordan Liss-Riordan '27 finished 8th in 5:07.04, followed by
Nora Johnson '25 in 5:08.19 for 9th. Blakeley Buckinham '25 also competed in the mile, placing 12th with a time of 5:10.58. Later in the day,
Annika Paluska '28 had a strong 800m race, finishing in 2:12.74 for 4th place. The final individual distance event was the 3,000m race, where
Kate Tuttle '28 led the Ephs with a 4th place finish in 9:47.98.
Tamar Byl-Brann '27 finished in 8th with a personal best time of 10:01.85.
The relay events were equally thrilling, with the Ephs dominating multiple races. The 4x200-meter relay team, consisting of
Maggie Nichols'28,
Claire Jensen'27, Ella Sakup'26, and
Malia Klein'25, ran an exceptional race, setting a new school record with a time of 1:42.98. The 4x400-meter relay squad, featuring
Bella King-Harvey'27,
Annika Paluska'28,
Claire Jensen'27, and
Cate Donaldson'27, displayed incredible teamwork, ending up in first place with a time of 3:48.33 and placing themselves as the second-fastest 4x400 team in Williams history. The 4x800-meter relay team, comprised of

Grace Kaercher'25, and
Hannah Prokup'28, delivered a strong performance, finishing in second history with a time of 9:27.77. In the distance medley relay,

After this meet, some Ephs will shift their focus to the upcoming outdoor season, while others prepare for the NCAA Division III Indoor Nationals in Rochester, NY.
