Dave Mosrie and junior
Ryan Nakajima of the Williams College baseball team earned All-NESCAC Second Team honors Thursday morning from the conference office.
Nakajima is making his second consecutive appearance on the All-Conference Team, as he was named to the First Team at the conclusion of the 2025 season. Mosrie, who served as a team captain this season, is earning his first end-of-the-year award from the NESCAC.
Nakajima is also a two-time NESCAC Player of the Week honoree, accomplishing the feat in back-to-back weeks on April 28 and May 5 during his sophomore season in 2025. The Bothell, Washington, native was named to the D3baseball.com All-Region Second Team in 2025.
During the 2026 season, Mosrie and Nakajima maintained the identical batting average of .341. Nakajima led the Ephs in hits (42), runs (31), home runs (3) and slugging percentage (.537), while being tied for first in doubles (9). He went 4-of-5 batting, with four runs, two doubles and one RBI, in a 13-5 win against Wesleyan on April 11 at Bobby Coombs Field.
Nakajima tallied at least one hit in 25 games, to go along with 13 multi-hit efforts. He maintained a .984 fielding percentage, with 59 putouts, one assist and only one error in 61 total chances.
Mosrie led the team in RBIs (29) and triples (4), while recording 31 hits and 20 runs. The Weddington, North Carolina, native maintained a .516 slugging percentage and .423 on-base percentage.
Mosrie went 4 for 5 in the batter's box, with three runs, one double and one RBI, in the 13-5 victory over Wesleyan in Williamstown, Massachusetts. He finished the season with nine multi-hit performances, including tallying three or more hits on three occasions.
