HADLEY, Mass. - The No. 1-ranked Williams College women's cross country team placed six student-athletes on the All-NESCAC Teams Wednesday morning, while head coach
Dusty Lopez and assistants
Stephanie Mauer,
Mike Blair and
Barb Grossov were named the conference's Coaching Staff of the Year.
Sophomore
Kate Tuttle (4th, 21:12.5), junior
Tamar Byl-Brann (6th, 21:13.3) and senior captain
Kate Swann (7th, 21:14.0) were named to the All-Conference First Team for the second consecutive season on the 6-kilometer course. Junior
Morgan Eigel was also named to the First Team, crossing the finish line in fifth overall with a time of 21:13.0.
Senior captains
Charlene Peng (10th, 21:26.8) and
Fiona Picone (13th, 21:42.9) were named to the All-NESCAC Second Team for their performances at the conference meet.
The Ephs will compete in the D3 Challenge Saturday (11:30 a.m.) at Stenger Farm Park in Waterford.
