WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - After leading the Ephs to a runner-up finish in the NESCAC Tournament,
Henry Juan,
Ryan Nakajima and
Owen McHugh of the Williams College baseball team garnered D3baseball.com All-Region recognition Tuesday.Â
Juan and Nakajima earned spots on the Second Team, while McHugh took home Third Team honors. Juan was named to the Third Team at the conclusion of the 2024 season, while Nakajima and McHugh are earning this honor for the first time in their collegiate careers. All three student-athletes were named to the 2025 NESCAC All-Conference First Team, while McHugh was also recognized as the conference's Co-Pitcher of the Year. Juan and McHugh earned 2025 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings NCAA Division III All-Region 1 Third Team accolades.
The Ephs compiled a sensational season with a 22-15 overall record and 7-5 mark in the NESCAC. The 22 victories are the most for the program since the 2019 season, as the 2025 unit swept Bowdoin in a best-two-of-three NESCAC Quarterfinal series in Brunswick, Maine, on May 3-4. During the regular season, Williams completed three-game series sweeps of West Division-rivals Hamilton and Wesleyan.

McHugh led the NESCAC in ERA (2.27), while ranking second in opposing batting average (.219) and tied for second in strikeouts (53). The Milton, Massachusetts, native record a career-high 12 strikeouts in a six-inning victory during a 9-1 triumph at Hamilton on April 6.
"Owen was impressive on the mound and played tremendous at second base when he was not pitching," said head coach
Bill Barrale. "He is a phenomenal student-athlete with great makeup."
Nakajima led the NESCAC in hits (59), while ranking second in RBIs (42), tied for third in triples (4), fifth in batting average (.396) and tied for fifth in doubles (11). The Bothell, Washington, native tallied three or more hits in 10 games during the 2025 season, to go along with earning NESCAC Player of the Week laurels on April 28 and May 5.
"Ryan was fun to watch this year," said Barrale. "He is graceful in the outfield, while also being an outstanding hitter. His ability to hit to all fields and his speed make him a tough out."
Juan ranked second in the NESCAC with 15 doubles, as he ends his college days as the program's all-time leader in career doubles with 50. On April 7, the Big Flats, New York, native was recognized with NESCAC Player of the Week accolades.
"Henry had a great year and tremendous career," said Barrale. "He was elite behind the plate with the big arm and led us this year in doubles. He will be missed for his defense and offense. Henry is an amazing talent."
