WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - The Williams College baseball team embarked on a vibrant journey during the 2025 season, as the Ephs plan to carry that positive momentum into 2026.
The 2025 version of the Ephs finished as the runner-up in the NESCAC Tournament, while going 22-15 overall and 7-5 in the conference. The 22 victories were the most for the program since 2019. The unit swept West Division-rivals Hamilton and Wesleyan during the regular season, and then swept Bowdoin during a best-two-of-three NESCAC Quarterfinal series in Brunswick, Maine, on May 3-4.

"The team has been hard at work since the fall with outstanding leadership from our captains and senior class," said head coach
Bill Barrale. "Having the ability to use the new Multipurpose Recreation Center (MRC) has been very refreshing after the last two winters. Everyone is eager to build off our late run last year, and the competition within our team has been outstanding."
The 2026 team has 24 returning student-athletes and seven newcomers and is led by senior captains
Dave Mosrie and
Peyton Rose.

"We have done a really good job preparing for the season," said Mosrie. "Since I have been here, this is the most complete team in terms of depth and overall talent. The group has fully bought into the program and is coming into the season with hunger and confidence."
