WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - It is difficult to imagine right now with the sizable snowbanks, but the Williams College women's lacrosse team's 2026 opener is only 18 days away.

The group will jump right into NESCAC action with its journey beginning on Saturday, Feb. 28, as the Ephs host Trinity at 1 p.m. on Farley-Lamb Field.

"The 2026 women's lacrosse team is led by an exceptional senior class with nine student-athletes who set the tone through their energy, competitiveness and commitment to one another," said interim head coach Alix Barrale. "They have built a positive and high standard environment that fosters connection, growth and daily accountability, while bringing an edge that shows up every time they compete. They are supported by a seasoned junior class ready to make significant contributions, while an enthusiastic group of sophomores and first years add depth, hunger and fresh perspectives to the program. United by strong leadership and a relentless drive, the team enters the season focused, confident and poised to break through in the NESCAC."

Williams has 24 returners, as Franny Donohue '26, Meaghan Day '26, Katy McCullough '26 and Jade Lowe '26 will provide leadership at the captain spots.
